It is with immense pleasure that I present the exceptional wedding of Rubi and Carington, celebrated at La Ferme des Templiers in Verlinghem. A day that beautifully combined Sri Lankan tradition with moments filled with simplicity, generosity, joy of life, and, of course, love.
From preparations to a warm atmosphere
The day began on the best possible note, with the talented Kevin Dendauw (Filmmaker), who accompanied me to capture every precious moment of this day. We started the preparations in Old Lille, where Rubi was pampered at hairdresser Alexandre Bruno and her makeup was done by Bobby Brown. Surrounded by her bridesmaids, Rubi was radiant and full of joy, which was evident from the very first moments. A sunny and promising day was unfolding, and we were all eager to follow it.
An emotional ceremony at La Ferme des Templiers
The civil ceremony, held at La Ferme des Templiers, was filled with emotion and beauty. The floral arrangements and the stunning bouquet created by Le Fleuriste de Lille added a delicate and refined touch to this moment. A little nervousness was felt before the start, but the upbeat music quickly erased any tension. When Rubi and Carington arrived, hand in hand, it was clear they were ready to unite for life.
The exchange of vows was a true moment of sharing. Their eyes filled with tears of happiness, humility, and gratitude marked this memorable instant. For them, for their love, and for the sincerity that radiated from their union… a big thank you for sharing such an authentic moment.

I had the honor of discovering Sri Lankan traditions, especially through their vibrant dances. The energetic rhythm and wild movements left me in awe, and I must admit, I was amazed by the energy that filled the room.
